About Mrs. Michal

Welcome Everyone!

I am Savana Michal and I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade here at Redding STEM Academy. Here is a little about me; I was born and raised in Utah until I moved to Napa Valley before I started high school. Now I am living in Redding with my husband, Kyle, and our doggo, Scout. We enjoy exploring new places, playing with our Scout, adding to our Lego and Funko Pop collections, and love getting lost in a good book. You would say that

I did two year of my undergrad at Napa Valley College before I transferred to CSU Chico. In 2021, I graduated from CSU Chico with a Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies. After a year of being an intern teacher, this Spring, I just graduated from Simpson University's Credential Program. This will be my third year at Redding STEM but it will be my second year as a classroom teacher!

I am looking forward to this school year and all of the learning to come!
