Principal's Message

Dear Redding STEM Academy Families and Community,

We hope this message finds you well and that you're enjoying the final days of the school
year. As we look ahead to an exciting new chapter at Redding STEM Academy, we are
thrilled to introduce the newest members of our administrative team our Co-Directors,
Tom Vanderpool and Tiffany Dorroh.

Tom Vanderpool is stepping into this role with a strong foundation in both education and
leadership. A graduate of Chico State with a degree in Business Administration, Tom
brings a unique blend of organizational insight and a deep passion for education. His
journey into teaching was inspired by his love of coaching, which led him to pursue a
single-subject credential in Physical Education. In addition, Tom holds a degree in
Special Education, highlighting his commitment to meeting the diverse needs of all
students. We are excited about the energy and perspective he will bring to our school
community.

Tiffany Dorroh has been a dedicated member of Redding STEM Academy for the past
eight years, first serving as a teacher, then as Vice Principal for three years, and now
stepping into the role of Co-Director. She brings a rich background in psychology, which
informs her thoughtful, student-centered approach to education. In addition to holding a
Multiple Subject Credential, Tiffany also holds administrative credentials and has
consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering supportive, inclusive learning
environments. Her leadership is grounded in compassion and collaboration, and we are
confident she will continue to be an inspiring presence in our school community.

 

Together, Tom and Tiffany bring a dynamic blend of experience, heart, and vision that
will help Redding STEM Academy continue to grow and thrive. We are confident that
their leadership will support both our students and staff in meaningful ways as we

continue to pursue excellence in STEM education.

 

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Tom Vanderpool and Tiffany Dorroh in their
new roles. We look forward to the positive impact they will have in the months and years
