Mr. Potter Bio

I have taught fourth grade at Barcelona Hills School in Capistrano Unified

School District in southern California for four years. (1989-1993)

I was hired in Laguna Beach as a Science/Technology Specialist for grades K-5.

In addition, I have taught third grade for ten years. (1993-2006)

I was hired at North Woods Discovery School (now RSTEM) in 2006 to teach fifth grade, and eighth grade History.

I am also currently the technology specialist at RSTEM, and the Independent Study Program Director.

Before I started teaching, I have worked as a mortgage agent, computer tape

sales, counselor for developmentally disabled adults, manager for a band,

and an engineer at a recording studio.

I love music! I currently play bass, and I play in a band. I also play guitar, trumpet, and drums.

I am a single dad with two boys:

Caden, born on 5-24-02, and Andrew, born on 10-2-04.

MISSION STATEMENT

I hope to motivate all students to always do their very

best, and have a fun time doing it!
