Maker Space with Mrs. Woodley
The Maker Space room at Redding STEM Academy is always busy with activity. Children are learning about creativity, using tools, engineering, building practices, computer programming, robotics and much more.
Now that we are all stuck at home, kids aren't getting time in the maker space classroom. I will be posting ideas that kids can do at home with general materials laying about. It will help keep them creative and occupied. Check out the Project Ideas link on the left.
I have created Google Classrooms for every class so they can share photos of their creations. Students always feed off of each others ideas in the classroom setting and this will allow them to do so virtually. Ask your student's teacher for the classroom code.
I look forward to seeing how creative the kids can be!
